RUTSO'S STORY

 

In 1994 as a young Architect, Bill Wright-Smith accidentally “fell into concrete”. He was rescued by Luigi Badaracco a Terrazzo Maestro from Tivoli in Lazio, Italy. Bill does look back - for under Luigi’s generous tuteledge all those years ago - Rutso Concreting was born - a unique business that has since created 7.265km’s of exquisite concrete bench tops, each lovingly fashioned with a calloused right hand.

“A mano” as Luigi would say.

 

Bill’s background as an Architect has been indispensable - in helping translate Architects’, Builders’ & Clients’ needs & desires. As Architect and Artisan, he speaks their language.
